Who says that finding love has an age limit? Mature Dating has launched a campaign that proves the best blind date you may ever have is when you are well past the age of 70. This adorable short video shows a man and a woman in their golden ages looking for something special—companionship. When they met for their first blind date, it was evident that they were a perfect match for each other.

Meet Pearl and Charles. The 77-year-old and 80-year-old respectively take in London after meeting for the first time. Before the meet-up, both were interviewed, revealing their reasons for taking the challenge and nervousness of the newness of online dating.

Pearl fondly recollects going to movies and holding hands with young suitors. Charles is just eager to hand over the roses and the date to begin. We see the couple enjoy lunch at a London restaurant, and then spending the afternoon enjoying each other’s company hand in hand. It’s clear that they are both having a good time. As the sun starts to set, the couple is asked if there will be a second date. You can’t help but enjoy the teenage smiles between the two as Pearl eagerly replies, “very likely.”

I would think there is a huge benefit to dating older. Both participants know exactly what they want, and the affection is genuine and pure. I am rooting for these two. Aren’t you?

SHARE the love and pass it on.
