Soldiers returning home videos always make me so weepy — and this one is no exception. Seriously, grab the tissues. You’re going to need them.

Sergeant Aixa Rodriguez, a member of the United States Air Force, recently returned home from her first deployment in Afghanistan and wanted to surprise her little boy. Her son, Aidan, had no idea his mom was coming home, so imagine his surprise when she showed up at his favorite theme park, Sea World. The crowd, of course, was ecstatic to be a part of the surprise.

Before surprising him, Aixa looks so nervous and is very emotional. We can’t imagine what it’s like to be away from your child for so long, but we’re so happy that she was able to return to hi in such a special way. The moment they were reunited is definitely not a memory that Aixa or Aidan is likely to ever forget. What a special day.

We’re so grateful for women like Aixa! What a wonderful mother. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to go fix our makeup in the bathroom — and we bet you do, too. We told you you’d need to break out the Kleenex!
