It Looks Like an Ordinary Backyard Shed. But The Inside Is a Plush Home Cinema!

Movie night just got a lot more exciting. An entrepreneur with unbelievable creativity transformed his garden hut into a dazzling home cinema complete with plush seats, and an array of video-game consoles.

Ashley Yeates, founder and builder for Torii Cinemas, turned his ordinary looking shed over the course of two months into my dream come true.

The home cinema features seven theatre-style seats, a real movie style 94-inch size screen, a 3D projector as well as Dolby 5.1 surround sound, and an underfloor subwoofer.

This guy thought of everything. On date night, the lights can be dimmed and the ceiling glitters with dozens of miniature bulbs to create a magical effect. There is also a well-stocked candy and refreshment bar.

Yeates, 32, from Bedfordshire, previously built his own real-life Hobbit hole in his back garden. The perfectly created project was the spitting image of those seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies. His business, The Torii Cinema Company, offers movie lovers the chance to have their very own custom made home cinemas.

Speaking to local news on his design, Yates said, “I think a key aspect of the build is that the outbuilding is very unassuming – to all intents and purposes it looks like a normal shed or summerhouse – but once you step inside, that changes entirely and the sound and visuals hit you as though you are in a full-sized cinema.”

I agree. I so need one of these.

SHARE the love and pass it on.
