Viral marketing always amps up during the holidays. Before we get to the feel good stories of Thanksgiving and Christmas, Halloween serves as the jumping off-point for viral marketing videos. The marketing agency for the newest “Paranormal Activity” movie sent some unsuspecting prospective home buyers into a house of horrors.

Watch as these people lose their minds in what they believe to be an open house in a very lovely looking neighborhood. It starts out innocently enough. A chandelier begins shaking, a microwave goes haywire. Then, the stakes are raised. The terror begins to mount and every single one of them lose their minds as the house begins to turn on them.

I can’t imagine going into what could potentially be a dream home, only to see it turn into a hive of poltergeist activity. Enough to make your skin crawl! Of course, it’s all fake, but it the fear is still real.
