The Photographer Canceled On Their Wedding Day. But She Never Expected To Get THIS Surprise!

Brides will tell you that one of the most important factors of a wedding is the wedding photography. Pictures are a still-shot of time, and the wedding photography is what is left when everything else has been packed up and put away. It’s the pictures that will be looked at by generations to come. Photos are the most tangible item you walk away with. Therefore, it is imperative to hire the best photographer who would capture perfectly the special moment.

So imagine being stood up by your photographer on that day with no alternative.

The bride was gorgeous; her dress was perfect, her entire family was there in attendance, and she was marrying the man of her dreams. Heather Koehler was just five minutes away from walking down the aisle when she found out her wedding photographer had not shown up. She was devastated, but had no choice but to carry on without the professional pictures she had always wanted.

“Photos are easily the one thing that is most important for the day. I even told my bridesmaid over dinner that the pictures are probably the most important thing for me,” the bride said in an interview with MLive.

Then photographer Dana Gruszynski heard about Koehler and her husband’s story and decided to recreate the wedding and take the pictures for the bride for free. She invited the newlyweds out to the bride’s cousin’s house in the countryside and handed her a bouquet. Upon being totally shocked, they were able to wipe away tears and pose for some immaculate photos.
