As joyous as the Christmas season is, it can also be quite stressful. Throwing holiday dinner parties are a great excuse to gather loved ones and friends, drink wine, eat good food, laugh and be merry. But preparing for them can be more of a headache than anything else. From making the food, decorating and of course, setting the table. But, it doesn’t have to be. If setting the table isn’t really your thing, we have you covered this holiday season with the best napkin fold courtesy the good people at Handimania.
She uses a plain white napkin that she lays flat on a table. She folds one ply diagonally and then folds another ply diagonally about an inch away from the crease of the previous fold. She then tucks that fold into the first fold.
She completes that step with another ply and then flips the napkin over. She folds one length of the napkin about an inch and a half, and then folds in the other side. She then tucks the corner into one of the creases.
Next, she inserts the knife, fork, and spoon into the different pockets. How cute is this? I can’t wait to try this at my next dinner party.
