Making it is about as simple as the ingredients list. Just slice up your baguette and make a hole in each slice, but don’t remove all the bread inside the hole.

Cut up your slab of bacon into tiny pieces and cook in until brown and crisp. Pour a little olive oil in a frying pan and heat, then toss your sliced baguette pieces inside.
Crack a few eggs into a cup and slowly pour the eggs into the holes in your bread slices. To stop the egg from leaking out, press down on the slices firmly with your fingers.

Season each with salt and pepper then cover the pan with a lid and cook for two minutes.
Flip the slices over, sprinkle the bacon pieces on top, then cover again, for about one minute.
