For expected mothers, it is natural to wonder what your baby is up to in the womb. As a baby grows and develops, moms-to-be typically gets a sense of his or her personality, but recent footage posted to Facebook shines new light on how some babies show their true selves even before birth!
Meddy Bear, a health care administration group, shows 4D ultrasound video of a very active unborn baby wiggling around, scratching his nose and eyes, playing with his fists and yawning in the womb. The baby is even dancing and doing a whole lot of kicking. At another point, the unborn baby waves!
The mother of this little dancer, Christine Johnson Burkey, said, “That’s exactly what it feels like is happening in my belly. So cute. And funny. My little guy is totally punching me like this picture.”
You’re not the only one that thinks this is cool. More than 6.5 million people have viewed the life-affirming clip. One social media viewer, a pregnant mother named Kelly Cordin, says that she planned to show the video to her 10-year-old son. “He is very excited about becoming a big brother within the next four weeks,” she wrote.
Though it is unclear how old the unborn child is, the video clearly demonstrates how similar babies in the womb are when compared to babies who are born. Amazing!
