I’ve watched quite a lot of montages of dogs welcoming their soldiers home, and they get me each and every time. Those heartwarming clips documenting the touching reunion usually leave me in tears, watching the pure joy and excitement the animals feel after seeing their owner for the first time.

But this isn’t one of those videos. In fact, this is the first montage I’ve seen of cats welcoming their deployed soldiers back and it’s…well…not exactly what you’d expect.

You’ve been gone for months, fighting for our country? These feisty felines couldn’t care less! It’s a little heartbreaking watching the complete lack of affection these cats show their owners, but I can’t help but laugh! You can’t take it personal because let’s be real, cats will never be as loyal as dogs!
