Noelle Hazel seems like your typical 12-year-old tween, but she is special is so many ways. She suffers from a genetic disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), which affects the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord.
SMA takes away the ability to walk, eat or even breathe. But it hasn’t taken Noelle’s beautiful ability to sing. She defies her disabilities every day and, like many young girls, is obsessed with Disney.
Noelle sings her favorite Disney princess songs to support her dream to go to Disney World in Orlando, Florida with her family. She may lack the physical strength of others her age, but Noelle’s aunt says her “strength of heart” makes up for it all.
