In a small Pennsylvanian town lies an old bank, built all the way back in 1872. Well…I guess I should say…what USED to be a bank!

As soon as Cathy Calhoun, a former employee of the National Bank Of Spring City Pennsylvania, discovered her old stomping ground was up for sale, she snatched it up real quick!

Finding her purchase to look almost exactly how she had left it back in the 70’s, Cathy wanted to preserve as much of the bank as possible – leaving things such as the vaults, safe deposit boxes and other artifacts completely untouched (except for maybe a nice polishing).

The rest of the bank, however, Cathy transformed into a beautiful home in which she now resides.

One of the most fascinating parts of the renovation can be seen in the basement vault. Once the scene to a deadly robbery in 1921, has now been converted to a lavish sauna. While some claim that a ghost from the robbery haunts the building, I think his presence might just add to the home’s historic charm!
