Devised by a group of men who refer to themselves as the BBQ Pit Boys, this extreme burger recipe puts just about every other patty to shame.
He starts by rounding out some hefty sized balls of raw meat, but it’s when he pulls out the beer cans that things start to get interesting. Molding the beef around the can, he is able to create a cavernous hole in the center of the burger. He takes two pieces of bacon to wrap around the mold, keeping things intact while providing that extra flavorful punch.
Now you may be thinking, “What’s the point of the hole?!” Well let me tell you.
The camera pans out to the grill and we see a smoky pile of everything – from mushrooms to chili to roast beef. If you haven’t put two and two together yet, these tasty ingredients are about to become the filling for those pre-formed burgers. That’s right, he stuffs all those burgers with everything but the kitchen sink. They wouldn’t be complete without a garnish of sharp cheddar. The entire patty makes its way back to the grill to cook through.
