If there were one type of food I could eat for the rest of my life, it’d be Mexican food. Nothing compares to the savory deliciousness of this south-of-the-border cuisine, especially tacos. Beef, chicken, shrimp, fish – with so many different varieties to choose from, what’s not to love?!
But what if I told you tacos don’t just have to be a savory meal? The video below is about to show you how to transform tacos into a treat that’ll satisfy any sweet tooth!
That’s right, I’m talking about tacos made out of waffles, ice cream, and chocolate! This recipe, courtesy of Yoyomax12, is a homemade version of a Choco Taco! If you’ve never had a Choco Taco before then you are in for a treat, because those suckers are delicious.
Yoyomax12 starts off by wrapping a damp paper towel around a waffle bowl. Then, she pops it into the microwave for about 18-20 seconds, making the waffle malleable. From there, she molds the waffle bowl into a taco shell shape and lets it cool.
After that she fills the waffle taco with ice cream, dips it in chocolate and tops it with sprinkles and nuts! Let them freeze for a few hours then they’re ready to be enjoyed!
