Are you looking for cake ideas but are tired of the same old thing? Do you love crepes? If you answered “Yes” to both of those questions, this recipe is definitely for you! In this video, Eugenie Kitchen shows us how to make this super sweet Rainbow Heart Surprise Mille Crepe Cake!
This cake is made out of layered crepes and looks almost too cute to eat! She starts off by making the crepes. Then, she makes the whipped cream filing. After the crepes and whipped cream filling are done, it’s time to build the masterpiece.
Layer the crepes, adding whipped cream filling between using the templates provided by Eugenie’s Kitchen — all of this information can be found on the YouTube page, which you can get to by clicking the YouTube icon on the video below.
Place one template per layer (make sure you use them in the right order!). Sprinkle powdered sugar lightly over template to show where the colored filling should go, then remove the template. Fill in colored filling then carefully fill in the rest with white filling. Repeat for each layer until all crepes are used. Frost cake with remaining whipped cream filling.
Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving. Make sure you cut it in pie-shaped slices to show off the heart.
