It’s common for people to get emotional in court, but never do you expect an emotional overload like this.
On June 30th, Judge Mindy Glazer was in the middle of a court sentencing when she got glimpse of a familiar face. Standing before her was a man, 30 years older than the the boy she once played football with in middle school.
“Did you go to Nautilus Middle School?” she asks suspect Arthur Booth. It didn’t take him long to realize who the woman in the black robe was, and he broke down in tears shouting, “Oh my god!”
This tear-jerking moment didn’t last long, but ended just before the judge tells the others in the room, “This guy was the nicest kid in middle school.” Before the officers take him to serve his inevitable sentence, she tells him, “I hope you come out of this and live a lawful life.”
It’s amazing what interesting paths life may lead us. You never know who you may run into along the way.
