Having a sick grandparent is heart breaking. The memories you have of them will soon just memories. That’s why this little girl’s family was worried that introducing her to her great-grandmother would be a bad idea.

Sophie’s great-grandma suffers from dementia. Afraid that her only memory of her great grandmother would be an unfortunate one, the family waited for the two to meet, but when Sophie finally got the chance, her family was awestruck.

Sophie begins stroking her great grandma’s chin and even sings her a song. What could have been a very heartbreaking encounter turned into a beautiful family memory that will last forever. Once she gives her a kiss, all bets are off and the waterworks begin flowing for everybody.
