Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek Rapping the ‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Song is the Best Thing You’ll Hear All Day

Alex Trebek has been the host of the syndicated game show Jeopardy since 1984 and has since been a television favorite amongst Americans. It wasn’t until recently, though, that Mr. Trebek became internet sensation in a recent Jeopardy show when one of the contestants asked, “TV for 800.”

You’ll never be able to look at Sir Alex Trebek Mix-A-lot the same way again when you hear what happens next. The beloved Jeopardy host responds, not by reading the question, but by rapping it  “In this theme to this ’90s sitcom,’I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8/And I yelled to the cabbie, ‘Yo, homes, smell ya later!’

You might not be able to hold in your laughter, but the three contestants on the show manage to keep their cool after the man in the suit before them flossed his skill on live television. More surprisingly, contestant Ankoor even managed to answer with a straight face, “What is the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air,'” prospering a whopping $800!

Judging from the way Alex Trebek busted out those smooth rhymes, he’s most likely has never seen Carlton do “The Carlton,” but we’ll give him a pass for that really good laugh.
