Get your tissues ready because this is one of the sweetest, yet saddest stories that I have ever heard.

This is the story of a dog named Judith, or Judas as she was initially called. Her original owners in British Colombia were horrible to her. They kept her chained up for 10 years providing her no love, no attention, no toys…nothing. They abused her and left her out in the snow and cold. Neighbors repeatedly tried to call the SPCA but the only thing they offered to do was put Judith down at a $50 fee.

But just when this story was at its darkest, one of their neighbors contacted the Animal Advocates. This video documents the pain that Judith endured and the incredible recovery that she made. It is truly amazing to see the difference that a little compassion and love can truly make. I’m so happy that Judith has finally found a good home.
