Many people think of animals similarly to the way they view people. They think of most animals species as intelligent creatures with feelings and emotions much the same as our own. While that is true, there are some subtle differences that separate man from beast.

For example, when you get up in the morning, what do you do? Get out of bed, stretch…maybe take a look in the mirror? Mirrors are something that just don’t exist in the animal kingdom, which you can see here.

A French photographer named Xavier Hubert Brierre travelled to Gabon with his wife and set up a series of mirrors for animals to see. The results are stunning. Many of the animals have NO idea what they are seeing! Some think they are being attacked! Little do they know that it’s actually themselves that they are looking at! Brilliant!
