When Darius watched two whitetail fawns being born in his backyard, he immediately noticed that something was wrong. One of the babies had an injured leg and struggled to keep up with mom. You can see from the heartwarming clip, the baby’s mother and sibling abandoned him right there on the property. Knowing the baby would surely die on her own, Darius, an animal lover and godsend decided to take the fragile fawn into his care and nurse her back to health.

Although he does not support keeping wildlife as pets, he knew this situation called for special attention.

The heartening journey of love, strength and selflessness will bring about a tear or two to your eyes. In Darius’ care, the fawn thrives. She even forms some loving friendships with Darius happy pets. What is even more heartfelt is the bond developed by Darius and fawn. The incredible connection is like something straight out of a tear jerking Disney movie.
