Twenty five years ago, a cruel set of parents did something that they probably regret to this day. Only hours after giving birth, the pair left their unwanted baby in a dumpster, leaving him to die, cold and alone. Luckily, there was a guardian angel close by.

Michael Buelna was on duty when he heard what he thought was a cat. He went over to investigate and after rummaging through the garbage, he made a shocking discovery. A little baby, covered in mucus and trash, had been abandoned.

Now, twenty five years later, Robin Barton has finally come face to face with the man who saved his life.

“I hoped that someday I would see him again,” Buelna said.
