Have Fun For The Whole Family With This Back-To-School Homework Caddy

Erika Carter

With school starting, your kitchen table and counters are about to be cluttered with homework, pens, pencils, calculators…you name it.

So, wouldn’t it be nice to have a place to put all of that? Yes. Yes it would. And thanks to the wonderfully creative lady behind the blog known as Aunt Peaches, now you can make with — and it’s so easy your kids can help! It just keeps getting better.

For this project, all you need are some empty cereal and granola bar boxes, a pair of scissors, and some decorative tape. See? Told you it was easy.

To get started, simply place your empty boxes side by side (she puts them in height order) and tape the bottoms together. Then trim off the tops so that you reach the desired height of each box. And finally, wrap your decorative tape around the boxes!

Aunt Peaches opted to go with stripes, but that may be a bit frustrating for kids. Any pattern works! Plus, you can always invest in some patterned duct tape which will more easily hide the inevitable bumps and air pockets. Happy crafting!

SHARE the love and pass it on!
