You can wrap bacon around pretty much anything and it instantly makes it 100 times better. Bacon wrapped dates? Yes please! Bacon wrapped asparagus? Game over.
But what if you wrapped bacon around something that’s equally as delicious as bacon … like tater tots?! If your mouth isn’t watering yet, then just wait till you see these pictures.
One of our favorite bloggers, Damn Delicious, is showing us how to make Bacon Wrapped Tater Tot Bombs and they’re more amazing than you think. Some might say they’re damn delicious.
Tender, juicy bacon wrapped around a crisp tater tot — that’s finger lickin’ good.
If your mouth is watering then listen up, for this scrumptious recipe all you’ll need is:
– 2 cups of frozen tater tots, defrosted to room temperature
– 1 oz of sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4 inch squares
– 4 slices of bacon, quartered
– 1/4 up of brown sugar
– 1 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley leaves
This recipe makes four servings and only requires 15 minutes of prep and 25 minutes of cook time! Start off by preheating your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, one-by-one, wrap each tater tot and cheese square in a piece of bacon, says Damn Delicious.
Repeat until each tater tot and cheese square is wrapped in bacon. Cover each tot in brown sugar, pressing down to coat.
Place the tater tots seam side down on the parchment-covered baking sheet. Pop them in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
When they’re done baking, garnish with parsley and serve immediately!
