Other than the American flag, there is perhaps no other symbol that represents our Country other than the American bald eagle. This is an incredible story about an American bald eagle named Beauty, who was tragically shot in the face by a human. Most of her beak was obliterated and without some miracle, she was not going to survive.

Jane Cantwell, a raptor rehabilitator, worked with Nate Calvin, a mechanical engineer, to create a miraculous solution to save Beauty’s life. Nate, through pure determination to save this magnificent creature, was able to create the first prosthetic American bald eagle beak.

This is a story about never giving up and pushing the limits even when it seems unachievable.
