Adorable Banana Split Bites Are Sure To Please The Whole Family

When you think about banana splits, that yummy ice cream dessert comes to mind. The good people at Our Family Of Seven delivers a recipe that is a piece of heaven.

This creative twist is healthy and is a great way to sneak some fruit into your kids’ diet. Trust, they will not even notice.

All you need is 3 bananas, 1/4 pound of cored pineapple, 6 strawberries, 1 cup dipping chocolate, 1/4 cup chopped peanuts, and 12 Popsicle sticks or skewers.

First, cut each strawberry in half. For one strawberry half, cut an equal size piece of a banana and a piece of pineapple.

Next place the pineapple on first, followed by the banana and strawberry. Place in freezer for 10 minutes. Then line a tray with wax paper or parchment paper, and place chopped nuts in a small plate to use for dipping.

Melt chocolate by heating it in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds, stirring and repeating until melted and smooth. Be sure not to burn.

Finally, dip the cold fruit in chocolate, then into nuts, and place on prepared tray.
