A Blind Veteran Sees For The First Time. His Reaction Left Me BREATHLESS.

After serving in the US Air Force for 18 years, Mark Cornell lost his sight and has been legally blind for 20 years. But thanks to recent technology, this US veteran is about to see again, for the first time in 2 decades!

The electronic goggles, called eSight smart spectaclesconsist of a headset, hidden prescription lens frame and a hand-held controller. The incredible technology allows people who are blind or who have extremely low vision to see people’s faces, read text near and far, use computers and watch TV!

In this video we watch Mark Cornell give the glasses a shot, and his reaction sends us on an emotional roller coaster, from laughter to tears of joy. Keeping his sense of humor strong, Mark remarks how the whole experience is ‘eye opening!’

His humble reaction to regaining his sight helps to remind us all to appreciate the little things we tend to take for granted! SHARE this touching story with everyone you know!
