The Ladies of Liberty Sing The Andrews Sisters’ Greatest Hit “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” For Veterans

While waiting to return home from an honor flight to D.C., a group of veterans were surprised with live performances in the terminal of the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

One such performance was by a group called the The Ladies of Liberty, a singing trio who wears old timey outfits and sings covers of The Andrews Sisters and similar artists. While the group was singing, a few of the veterans were brought back to their glory days and decided to get up and dance.

What happened next was amazing and is truly inspiring for people of all ages.

Rather than allow their age to get in the way of cutting loose and breaking it down, some of the vets decided screw it and danced in that airport terminal like there was no tomorrow. The crowd went crazy and many volunteers and observers joined in on the fun.

We hope the veterans had a well-deserved fun trip to D.C. and that they remember that there is never a bad time to get up and dance. We’re grateful for being reminded of such a wonderful lesson: you’re simply never too old to do something amazingly fun!
