One of the best friendships your child can probably have while growing up is a pet.

The popular animals are cats and dogs, but after you see Tyler’s friendship with his pet duck, Beaker, you might have to rethink that.

Typically, the most interaction children will have with ducks are the plastic toys that accompany bath time.

Tyler, however, has a real life duck that he has grown up with since birth, one and a half years ago. Beaker, or Bee for short, has been an instrumental part of the toddler’s life.

According to The DoDo, his first word was “duck.”

She has also captured some of the most adorable moments of Bee as a duckling hanging out on Tyler’s back, the two having fun in a swimming pool, causing havoc in the bathroom, and even playing inside of a box.

Mom says these best buddies do everything together, including eating and sleeping. She also revealed that the duo can sometimes be mischievous and that when Beaker begs for food, Tyler often obliges.

Just like any other loyal pet, Bee is there when Tyler is upset or not feeling well. He is very much concerned with Tyler’s well-being, even quacking at mom’s feet until he knows his best friend is feeling better.
