Two months ago, Braylon Beam, a 6-year-old little boy who suffers from cancer, appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and shared with Ellen his #JustKeepDancing campaign. The #JustKeepDancing campaign began as a way for Braylon to cope with his chemotherapy, but it serves not only as an inspiring message for those suffering from cancer, but also those simply facing everyday life struggles. No matter what life throws at you, just keep dancing!
After Braylon became somewhat of an internet sensation thanks to Ellen, Carolina Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman contacted him as he knew Braylon was a huge fan. Gettleman signed the 6-year-old for a day and Braylon used his time on the field to both mentor and dance with the players.
Dancing to the ever-so-popular Silento’s “Watch Me,” powerhouse Braylon stole the show with his whip and nae nae. And just look at that stanky leg!
When speaking to the press following his epic performance, Braylon said “Be brave, be positive, never give up, have a heart, go Cats.” What an inspiring message. And whatever you do, don’t forget to #JustKeepDancing.
