When this mom found out she was finally having a girl, she knew her whole world was going to change. Now she has the pleasure of introducing the newborn to her doting six sons, who waited patiently for her arrival. Ruby’s parents posted these touching moments of the brothers’ hilarious reaction to having a new sister.

“She’s so small. I didn’t even think babies were this little,”  exclaims 13-year-old Jackson in the video.

“This is Ruby, and I love her,” says four-year-old Shepard. Her two-year-old brother Knox does not speak but tenderly kisses his sister’s cheek the moment he sees her. 

Ruby’s 10-year-old brother Campbell tells the camera, “I’m excited that she’s here, but I’m scared because it’s a girl.”

Ruby’s seven-year-old brother Sawyer says that his sister “is a precious as a Ruby” and adds that if anyone ever tries to harm her he will  join the police force and put away the perpetrator for 1,000 years.

Houston, 5, says he is afraid that his sister will one day have paintbrush she will use to paint their house pink. How terrifying for this little guy.

The video then zooms on Campbell once again who says that he is going to be her sister’s protector, adding that when she grows up and has a boyfriend that he’ll have to go through them before he can take their sister out on a date.

The couple had given up on having girl. But a friend, who was told the child’s sex, chipped in to bake the pink-colored chocolate cake. 

What a lucky little girl to be surrounded by so many brothers who love her!
