This man has captured something on film that is absolutely breathtaking and will change the way you look at the ocean. He flew a drone camera over the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Southern California and got some incredible footage of blue whales, gray whales and dolphins.

Right off the coast of Dana Point, CA he saw breathtaking, rare and endangered blue whales swimming along. This video is actually the first time drone footage of blue whales is being made public.

The drone also got some amazing footage of gray whales in Dana Point and Laguna Beach. It spotted a momma gray whale with two baby gray whales. The calf whales were playing in the kelp right off the coast in the coves of Laguna Beach. They were so close to shore! Lucky beach goers and passersby got to witness this beautiful moment in nature.

Lastly, this nifty little camera caught something really crazy! It captured a giant megapod of common dolphins swimming alongside a Whale Research & Rescue boat. Seeing this many dolphins all together in one group so close to a boat made my jaw drop. It really is incredible.
