Our pet cats are a pretty lazy bunch. They’re either sleeping or laying around well over 90 percent of the time. Still, when that screen door shuts behind them, our felines are prone to roam. We all know too well that when you allow a cat to roam free, there is no telling where he or she may go.

Unless you have some sort of tracking device on those felines, you more than likely would not know what they are up to. Whether they are searching for food or finding a new friend, many cats seem to explore the streets and neighborhoods simply looking for adventure. Just ask Nala!

While her owner is away, Nala reportedly spends her time visiting with a completely different family! One day she came home with sweet “Thank You” note from another family that Nala had been periodically visiting. Even though the writer of the note did not reveal their name within it, they were very open about what the cat would do at their house during each visit.

At first glance, the note may seem like a complaint or a notice that this cat is begging for food from strangers. That is of course until you read the closing two sentences, which are emotionally stirring.

Since this family apparently lost their cat of 21 years, perhaps having Nala to essentially fill that void at least temporarily helped them to the point where they felt that a “thank you” note to her owner was necessary.
