These Pesky Cats Can’t Leave Their Christmas Trees Alone

If you have a cat, you don’t need us to tell you how challenging it can be to keep your cat out of restricted areas of the house. Cats are slinky little creatures that are incredibly sneaky.

Even though you have set up a nice little perimeter around the Christmas tree to keep small creatures out, cats have a way of squeezing their bodies through anyway or, better than that, leaping over the obstacles. Although these funny pets give you more work and clean up, it sure makes for a great photo op.

It should be pretty self-explanatory why cats love Christmas trees. If we were look to at it from the cat’s point of view, cats climb trees. What are we to expect when we bring a tree into the home and hang decorative ornaments on it. Are we really supposed to expect them to leave it alone? I think not.

Take this daring cat for instance. He thinks he is a star and should be on top of the tree, so what does he do? Goes to the top of the tree. Who needs any other decorations? The other felines climb their way and find comfortable resting places among the lights and decorations. How could they resist those shiny lights?

These festive felines prove that the tree is a cat’s favorite part of the holiday season, and it is so adorable that we could not agree more.
