When rescue organization Animal Aid received a phone call reporting a dog who was captured in an animal trap, a team immediately assembled to find the poor creature.

Luckily the crew was able to quickly find the dog, who was clearly in dyer condition. His paw was severely mutilated from the animal trap’s claws. Ignoring the disturbingly gruesome injury sustained by the helpless animal, the rescue team went into emergency mode to help nurse this petrified creature back to health. 

They rushed the dog into surgery, but because he paw was so brutally destroyed, his leg needed to be amputated. The surgery was successful and although the pup is now missing one of his legs, he’s lucky to be alive!
