She’s Crusting Her Chicken With Honey Bunches of Oats! YUM!

Angela Markus

There are countless ways to make chicken, but this brand new recipe will trump the rest! She’s making crusted chicken… with your favorite cereal!

You are going to need one pound of  boneless and skinless chicken, one half cup of olive oil, one teaspoon of garlic powder, and two cups of honey bunches of oats.

Get a zip lock bag and pour the cereal inside. Close the bag and crush the cereal. After crushing, pour the cereal into a bowl. In another bowl, add the garlic powder, olive oil and mix well together. Ensure the chicken is clean then coat with the oil and garlic powder mixture. Then take it to the bowl with the cereal and coat well.

Grab your baking tray and spray on the cooking spray. You can use a disposable tin foil pan as well for easy cleanup. Place the chicken on the tray a reasonable distance away from each other. Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

The result, succulent chicken with the sweet, crispy and crunchy taste of the Honey Bunches of Oats. This is a remarkable recipe that can be prepared with a fresh salad, grilled vegetables or creamy mashed potatoes. I’d skip the milk for this meal.

Feel free to use the cereal of your choice, like Captain Crunch or Frosted Flakes! The flavors are endless!
