He Mixes 2 Of The Greatest Treats To Make One EPIC Dessert!

Imagine a big bowl of your favorite cereal, the sweet flakes of goodness suspended in a pool of sugary milk. Now picture a big bowl of your favorite ice cream, slowly melting in a puddle of its own deliciousness.

Now…imagine the two combined into one unbelievably magnificent treat. Are you drooling yet?

The food-lovin’ guys over at DudeFoods.com show us just how to take these separate dishes and transform them into one of the most unique, yet brilliant desserts I’ve ever seen! If you’re not catching my drift, I’m talking about DIY cereal ice cream cones!

While the dudes went with Fruity Pebbles as their cereal of choice, I’m pretty sure this recipe could work for most brands.

To create the cone, simply melt three tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add about ten ounces of marshmallows to the butter, stirring until completely melted. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in six cups of Fruity Pebbles (or whichever cereal you prefer).

Spread this mixture between two pieces of wax paper, flatten them into a sheet with a rolling pin and then mold this mixture around some kind for cone form. If you have store-bought sugar cones on hand, these work perfectly!

Let your cone harden a little bit to make sure it’s firm enough to support hefty scoop of ice cream. Use whichever ice cream flavor you think will pair nicely with your cereal cone. These guys chose classic vanilla…with a little added twist – more Fruity Pebbles!

If this doesn’t sound like the perfect warm weather pick-me-up, then I have no idea what would!

Which cereal will you try? I’ve got my eye on Cinnamon Toast Crunch with a colossal mound of butter pecan ice cream…how good does that sound?!

See what other tasty combos your friends and family can come up with and SHARE the love and pass it on!
