When you think of New Year’s Eve drinks, the first thing that probably comes to mind is champagne. After all, there is nothing better than bringing in the New Year with the people you love while toasting with your favorite bottle of champs. While many are experts at the art of sabrage, there are way more people who are clearly not.

Opening a bottle of expensive champagne with a sword might sound like fun, and may even impress those around you, but there are obviously many ways how that can go epically wrong.

I feel sorry for the men and women who almost lose an eye, and those that destroy those expensive bottles of champagne for the art of show. For one guy, instead of the neck of the bottle breaking away, the force of the sliding blade caused it to spin away from his hands before smashing onto the ground.

There is a woman who falls trying to open a bottle, and another who is bracing the pop, but it gets her by surprise anyway. This will be the funniest thing you see all day.
