This Fall, Treat Yourself to Cheesecake Baked Apples

Angela Markus

There are many reasons why people love to eat these cakes over other kinds of desserts. While I consider myself to be a pretty decent baker, I tend to leave cheesecakes up to the professionals. But this recipe makes the process extremely easy and most of all incredibly divine. After this, you’ll be making Cheesecake Baked Apples all autumn long!

First, make the filing. In a bowl, add 8 ounces of cream cheese, ¼ cup of sugar, and mix well together. Then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, one egg and mix some more.

Next, remove the core and insides of an apple and add the cream cheese filling. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F.

Now for the topping. In a pan, pour 1 cup of whipping cream, ¾ cup of maple syrup, and bring to a boil. Next, add ½ cup of pecans, and allow the mixture to simmer.

Remove the apple from the oven. You can sprinkle graham crackers, but that is optional. Pour the pecan mixture over the apple and get ready for the most delicious flavor combination you’ve had all year long!

YUM!

SHARE the love and pass it on.
