Did you know that you could make the most delicious chocolate cake with only two ingredients? Okay, we have to admit, that one of the ingredients is cake mix, but we bet you’ll never guess what the second one is! And no, it’s not anything listed on the back of the box. It’s Coca-Cola! Hooked on the idea yet? If not, you should give it a try, just for curiosity’s sake, because it is fantastically delectable!

All you have to do is go out and buy your favorite chocolate cake mix and a 12oz. bottle of Coca-Cola.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While you’re waiting for it to heat up, pout the cake mix and the entire can of coke into a large bowl and mix until there are no lumps in the batter. Using an electric mixer, definitely makes this process faster, so we’d recommend using one of those, if you have one. If not, it takes a little while to get all the lumps out when you’re mixing by hand, but hey, at least you’re getting an arm workout, right?

After you’ve mixed thoroughly, pour the entire liquidy goodness into a parchment paper lined, 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for about 35 minutes or until the delicious sweet smell of coke and chocolate permeates your entire kitchen, letting you know it’s finished.

Allow to cool before cutting, and be gentle as you pull each piece out, as this cake has a tendency to be more on the crumbly side, but boy, is it delicious!
