Vinyl siding is a durable, versatile, and resilient building material, but it does require some routine care and cleaning. The growing popularity of vinyl siding is indisputable. But because it is an exterior product, vinyl siding can accumulate a host of dirt, grime, and in humid climates vinyl siding may also develop mold or mildew, which should be removed as well. Vinyl is also vulnerable to discoloring effects from fertilizers and pesticides. But here is an extremely easy way to clean your sidings without pressure washing.
Some DIY projects might require you to spend lots of money. This one is relatively cheap with amazing results. All you need to do is grab an old scrubbing brush, scrubbing bubbles and some elbow grease. You will have a brand, new look in no time. Chris Hayes posted his tutorial to YouTube showing just how easy the process is to clean those dusty sidings.
He starts by spraying an area of the house with the Scrubbing Bubbles. He then takes the scrubbing brush and works away the grime. Finally, he uses a hose to rid the scum. He then reapplied the brush to minor areas again washing it off with water.
Although this cleaning requires some time, in one weekend you can clean the entire exterior of your home all for next to nothing.
