We, along with the rest of the world, watched Aaron and Austin Rhodes reveal to their father something they have been hiding their entire life. The twins bravely announced their homosexuality to their father and recorded the conversation on film. The two went on to post the interaction on YouTube which triggered an overwhelming response of love and support.

The father’s understanding reaction, sincerely filled with love and acceptance made the video go viral almost immediately – queue: Ellen Degeneres.

Always on top of her social media, Ellen quickly caught wind of the twins and their inspiring coming out video. As another open member of the homosexual community, Ellen obviously couldn’t wait to get the boys, along with their father, onto the show!

And, go figure, this special appearance had me in tears. It was so nice to see a father so supportive and proud of his sons, regardless of sexual orientation, because when it comes to families – love is unconditional!
