It’s been starting to get pretty cold out lately, and with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, we figured it’s just about time to start busting out all of our best hot comfort food recipes. Today’s favorite is CrockPot Creamed Corn. It’s festive and delicious, and also super easy to make, thanks to that handy dandy crock pot of yours!
All you need to cook this tasty, warm meal is to mix together 3 cans of whole kernel corn, drained of their excess liquid, one cup of milk, a tablespoon of sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of pepper. After these ingredients have been well-incorporated, top them off with ½ cup of sliced butter and 8 oz. of cubed cream cheese. Then, cook all these ingredients at your crockpot’s highest setting for two to three hours.
Once this creamy mixture is done cooking, it will smell and taste fantastic. We suggest stirring it quickly before serving, and perhaps topping it off with some hearty chili powder to add a little kick to the flavoring. Your kids will love this warm and delicious dish after getting in from a long cold day playing outdoors! Curl up with a blanket, and enjoy!
SHARE the love and pass it on!
