Crushed New Potatoes Recipe Has Your Name Written All Over It!

Instantly filling and satisfying, mashed potato has always been regarded as the nation’s favorite comfort food. But here, we have a play on mashed potatoes that will surely satisfy your taste buds. In addition to how easy it is to prepare, this dish serves well as an addition to any meal. Crushed New Potatoes is so succulent, you will be making these every other night!

Get 4 new potatoes, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 garlic clove, 1 tablespoon chives, salt, pepper, 2 tablespoon grated cheese, 1 tablespoon of parmesan, and herbs of your choice, but that is optional.

First, preheat the broiler, wash the potatoes and add them to a pot of salted water.

Cook until tender for 15 to 20 minutes. In a bowl, mix oil and minced garlic, and set aside.

Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper. Use either a potato masher or paper towel, and your hand, carefully crush potato. Next pour some garlic oil over each potato, then sprinkle some salt and pepper. Add some parmesan and the cheese of your choice. This recipe used pepper jack cheese.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted, or golden brown, and finish off with chopped chives.
