Cancer is something that has taken a toll on too many families. Although there has certainly been efforts made to find a cure, the number of stories we hear of battles lost with cancer seem to be ever increasing.

Charlie Kwentus is currently fighting that brutal war. He has been combating cancer for a long time which has lead him to the realization that quality of life is more important than length of life. With this epiphany Charlie has decided to no longer undergo treatment. Instead, he’s chosen to spend what time he has left with his family.

However, there was one thing that Charlie could not help but be deeply saddened by – not being able to walk his kids down the aisle on their wedding day. So everyone came together to do something about it.

Enveloped in flowing white dresses, hair beautifully pinned, and makeup highlighting each glowing face, his daughters gathered into a gorgeous limo, and off the wedding party went to a private ballroom for the mock reception.

Here Charlie danced with each one of his daughters, followed by a heartfelt speech saying how much he loved all of them. It’s an emotional scene for everyone involved…including me.
