A baby’s first few moments are intense. One dad decided to share one of the most heartfelt stories about his delivery room experience. Within the warm story, however, Michael Jr., explains something astoundingly inspirational.

After all those hours of labor, new parents finally get to see the new bundle of joy for the first time. Christian comedian Michael Jr., tell the story of meeting his daughter at that moment. For most babies, the journey of life is sometimes met with crying, and little Portland was no different. It is the perfect way to kick-start the lungs. Michael goes on to talk about how she was continually crying, and after he had spoken to her, his familiar and soothing voice brought about an instant calm to his daughter.

During the first moments of a baby’s life, the nurses will perform their well-check, and when they did that to Portland, she cried some more. Then dad did it again. He assured his daughter that he was right there and that everything was ok. When he says to her, “I love you,” your heart will melt.
