As little as children are, they offer so much that we adults can learn from. One such lesson—how to enjoy yourself on a sideline. Anyone who has ever played hockey can tell you that goalies are some of the most fun and unique people who play the sport. Their antics are ridiculous and their pre-game preparations are often mocked and used for gifs. Some, regardless of age, just love to dance.

This adorable nine-year-old’s name is Ryan Rothfork, but everyone calls him “Chop.” I am not sure if it has anything to do with his dance moves, but as the goalie for his team, Chop has put all other goalies to shame with his dance moves. It’s a hard life being stuck on the sideline.

One has to imagine that the job of a goalie has to be pretty boring, especially if you spend most of your time off to the side. But this little man finds an interesting way to keep himself entertained. While doing so, he totally amuses us! He’s a hero to goalies everywhere.

So let this be a lesson to people everywhere: when life gives you lemons, dance!
