Erica Nigrelli knows the meaning of getting a second chance and after hearing her story, you’ll understand why.

While teaching one day in her Texas classroom, Erica began feeling very faint and soon thereafter, collapsed to the ground.

She was rushed to the hospital, but by the time her baby was delivered through emergency c-section, her heart had completely stopped and she was technically dead. Doctors, however, were miraculously able to bring her back to life!

It turns out Erika had an undetected heart defect but now, with a pacemaker, should live to see her baby grow up.
