One of the most mesmerizing photo shoots you can come across are the ones introducing newborn babies.

A photographer from Louisiana recently shot a series of pictures with an adorable that was a lot more magical than she had planned. Set outdoors with autumn as the perfect backdrop, they were delightfully interrupted by an unexpected guest.

A curious deer wandered into the view of photographer’s Megan Rion camera while snapping the 1-month-old boy named Connor in Sam Houston Jones State Park in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. As Connor slept peacefully on a stack of hay decorated with pumpkins, the young deer showed up.

The familiar face Maggie is a deer who is no stranger to humans. She was hand fed when she was young and has a reputation of showing up during photo shoots held in the park. Rion says that Maggie is known for being a good sport when it comes to photo shoots, and the photographer has even created a Facebook album with portraits that feature appearances by Maggie.

“She has a reputation for it and parents even request that she come to shoots, but I let them know there’s no guarantee,” Rion said while speaking to Yahoo. As adorable of baby photos are, the added touch of the animal makes them so much more beautiful.
