This berry croissant pudding recipe is sure to amaze you with its simplicity! All you need is a package of pre-made croissants, fresh or frozen blueberries, two eggs, whipping cream, sugar and vanilla extract. These six ingredients will lead you to a warm pan of goodness that the whole family will love.
Before you begin, be sure to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
First, take your 10-12 pre-baked croissants and cut them into random pieces. After you have done so, place them into a greased baking pan and set them aside. Now it is time for you to make the pudding mixture. This step is just as simple as the one before it!
If you decided to use frozen berries for your filling, make sure that you allow some time for thawing before you put them into your mixture.
Take a large bowl, and whisk in your two eggs. Next, add in 12 ounces of heavy whipping cream as well as 1/3 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Once that is all done, take your blueberries and fold those into the mixture as well.
Now, fetch out the croissants and evenly coat them with the pudding mixture that you just created. Make sure that you pour it over all of your croissant pieces to allow them to soak up the mixture and create your soon-to-be delicious croissant pudding!
After this is complete, cover your creation with aluminum foil and put it in the oven that’s nice and warm for 40 minutes. When the 40 minutes is up, take out the pan, uncover it and put it back in for another 10 minutes.
Once you’ve taken it out of the oven be sure to let it cool and top it with whip cream or serve it your own way! Your guests are going to drool over these!
