Stop Wasting Your Money On Air Fresheners And Make This DIY Version Instead

Erika Carter

One of my favorite things to pick up at the grocery store is a new air freshener. I love trying out new scents and seeing which ones I like, which ones I don’t, and which ones make people think I spent all day cleaning my house- those are my favorite! The problem with air fresheners is that they tend to be a bit overpriced.

That’s why this new DIY air freshener we’re sharing with you is all sorts of amazing!

All you need is a mason jar, baking soda, Essential Oils, cloth, and a knife. Yes, that is all!

Simply fill a mason jar halfway with baking soda and put 10-12 drops of your favorite Essential Oil directly into the baking soda. Then, cover with the cloth, place the lid on top, and poke a few holes in the cloth so that your new air freshener can breathe! Pretty ingenious, huh?

What Essential Oil scent do you plan on using? We love lavender- it’s just so relaxing. Let us know which one’s your favorite in the comments section!

SHARE the love and pass it on!
